Fred Thompson, the company's CEO and President, is a results-oriented, customer-focused executive. Prior to founding Thompson Consulting in 1997, he had over 30 years of experience in engineering design/management, operations management, and total quality management in several organizations. His corporate management experience includes the following:

The founder has given numerous talks on overall quality management, business excellence, and process improvement in the United States and Europe. He has written articles on process improvement and executive vision in the United States and overseas.
